As our next Mine Geologist reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
This is a site based role operating on an 8 days on; 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth that will see you thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects on time, within budget and safely
• Monitor Daily Mine Geological functions; Supervise the blast hole sampling and grade control process
• Maintain and improve on the Geological Models
• Provide input into the Mine Planning
• Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making
• Drive Continuous operational improvement
What skills and experience do you need?
· Tertiary qualification in Geology or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years experience in open cut mining as a Geologist
· Sound knowledge of the appropriate sampling practices and techniques
· Computer literacy (incl. modelling software – experience with Vulcan will be highly regarded)
· You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
