Job Description

In this role, the senior sales engineer/sales engineer (SE) will be responsible for providing pre-sales engineering, product evangelization, technical marketing, proof of concept and some post-sales support for Arbor’s Southeast Asia sales region. This position will be held accountable for helping the Southeast Asia sales manager achieve specific direct sales revenue goals as well as perform agreed upon major business objectives designed to further companywide business goals. The position will require approximately 50% travel.

The responsibilities will include each the following:

  • Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations for existing and potential customers as well as partners.
  • Sales and technical enablement of partners within Southeast Asia and other territories.
  • Management of the technical relationship with all customers and prospects of the account manager during the sales process. This includes maintaining relationship with technical contacts within the customer, keeping account information up to date in Arbor CRM system, and attendance at all sales, sales engineering, and product management meetings regarding the customer.
  • Detailing/presenting Arbor’s product features, operation, support services and outlining the resulting value propositions to customer/partner.
  • Responding to RFP/RFI/RFQs in coordination with sales account mgr.
  • Installing and managing customer technical evaluations of Arbor's products.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous Sales Eng experience (min 3 years for SE, 5 years for Sr. SE) for a data network vendor, service provider or network security company including both presentation and hands-on responsibilities.
  • Hands-on background in TCP/IP, routing topologies and protocols including BGP4 and MPLS is required. Knowledge of other routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, and RIPv2 is required.
  • Strong security background with knowledge of Firewall, IDS, IPS, Virus, Internet worms, DDoS, and network exploits is required.
  • Experience in mobile network technologies 3G CDMA/GSM and 4G LTE/WIMAX is preferred.
  • Understanding of Access control and authentication infrastructure (PKI, RADIUS/Tacacs+, diameter) is preferred.
  • Network management understanding or experience (SNMP, HP Openview, Tivoli) is preferred.
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional | (ISC)² is a definite plus.

iDDA Test Environment Support Analyst - Associate - Bournemouth

Job Headline: JPMC Treasury Services business requires a skilled technical professional with good experience of supporting complex Test Environments to fill the role of iDDA Test Environment Support Analyst in the TS Technology team.

Treasury Services is responsible for the bank's Global Cash Management operations.
A significant area of TS Technology activity is in Account Services, where the deposit accounts for many of the Bank's customers are held in a single cross-regional international Demand Deposit Accounts application (iDDA)

As part of the International/E2E Testing team in TS Account Services and Quality Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the day to day iDDA UAT environment management tasks for a number of large testing programs that have a dependency on the iDDA application.

The role reports to the iDDA Test Environment Manager and will be based in Bournemouth, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing management of the relevant iDDA UAT environments supporting key testing programs and iDDA release projects, including:
    • Processing all agreed inbound files and sharing status with testing teams
    • Running all agreed iDDA batches
    • Transmission of all agreed outbound files and sharing status with testing teams
    • Raising, tracking and resolution of environment issues/defects in cooperation with the appropriate Technology teams
  • Liaison with the off-shore vendor team providing environment support services
  • Support the Test Event Leads and LOB Application Leads in the co-ordination of the planning and execution of the test schedule for each testing program
  • Work with the Test Event Leads, iDDA Technology, and LOB test leads to prioritize/track/resolve iDDA UAT environment issues
  • Production of test environment metric packs (daily, weekly, and monthly as required)

    • Previous experience of supporting test environments for large cross-LOB, multi-team testing programs in the financial industry.
    • Good experience of file transfer and messaging environments
    • Knowledge of UNIX
    • Knowledge or Oracle and SQL
    • Experience in preparing test cases
    • Understanding of the financial sector
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-regional teams
