Sibelco Australia and New Zealand processes and supplies raw materials for the Australian, New Zealand and Asian manufacturing and primary industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team based out of our Lilydale site.

The primary objective of the Maintenance Supervisor will be to support the Maintenance Superintendent to deliver a reliable and efficient maintenance programmes for the Lilydale production process by managing the day to day maintenance requirements of the Lilydale site.

Key responsibilities include;

• Supervising trades personnel to ensure safety procedures and standards are maintained and work is conducted safely
• Planning regular scheduled maintenance tasks and breakdown response of all fixed plant
• Allocating and coordinating maintenance activities for the Lilydale site • Detecting potential faults for preventative maintenance work
• Maintaining a roster to respond to out of hours unscheduled breakdown rectification, as required
• Monitoring the conditions of work to ensure that safety standards and procedures are complied with.
• Responding and prioritising Maintenance requests with consultation with affected parties
• Working to ensure positive and effective working relationships are fostered and maintained between the maintenance crew and the wider operations

To be successful in the role you will have relevant trade qualifications in fitting/turning, ideally have a minimum of 5 years proven experiencing leading a maintenance team and preferably have experience in confined space and working at heights.

You will have the ability to supervise a team and plan and organise multiple work tasks as well as a methodical approach to tasks and strong problem solving skills.
