Position Summary:
Investigates and evaluates plant processes as they apply to laboratory testing and separator equipment. Conducts laboratory and performance testing including chemical treatment and specific equipment evaluation.  Writes test reports of laboratory evaluation.  Conducts on-site testing and evaluation as it relates to separator equipment.

Engineer position primary responsibility would be three fold:
1)  Assist in determining the sizing of all equipment.
2)  Perform lab testing for thickener, HVBF, filter presses and basic centrifuge characteristics.
3)  Perform on-site pilot testing for centrifuge and filter presses.
Major Duties:
¨  Collects available laboratory information and plans tests; works with supervisor, sales, process engineering, representatives and customers.
¨  Conducts testing and records both objective analytical data and personal subjective observations: maintains close interface with sales and Laboratory Director.
¨  Researches sample background and process information to understand derivation of test samples.

The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of the new product commercialization process in a cross-functional team environment. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Product Engineering:

Establish product requirements for performance, durability and reliability together with any other customer wants/needs or any continuous improvement ideas. Proficient in implementing changes using APQP process (Concept to Commercialization) procedures in new product development. Perform appropriate/required design analysis to minimize testing requirements and design cycle time. Prepare test requests, test reports and prototype requests as needed. Prepare and maintain design documentation using document control process. Provide training and assistance to sales force. Assist Warranty as needed in details product analysis and/or customer visits.

  • Leadership/Teamwork/Project Management:

Project leader in establishing program timing together with members of appropriate teams to ensure adequate product testing and development. Work with manufacturing to resolve Requests for Deviations. Implement Cause and Corrective actions whenever possible. Act as mentor to other engineers, associate engineers and drafters, where appropriate, to foster career growth, skills development and training.

  • Communication:

Report progress to program goals on a regular and programmed basis to communicate risks opportunities and status of each new product program against established milestones.Communicate/Present to customers and suppliers in effort to address any technical question or product change request.



Job Requirements

Required Experience

Qualified candidate will have a 4 year degree and 7-10 years of experience. However, a Master's degree and 10+ years of experience is prefered.

  • Must be computer literate in Windows applications, minimum word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and/or CAE. SolidWorks and ANSYS preferred.
  • Experience in all aspects of new product commercialization preferred.
  • Experience in design and application of assigned products or products requiring very similar skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of materials and metrology. Knowledge of polymer chemistry and development is preferred.

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Desalination team in Cape Preston on a permanent 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth.
The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent – Maintenance, this role will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of the desalination plant equipment and systems in order to provide a safe, reliable and efficient source of water as well as performing maintenance, repair, improvements and technical fault finding for desalination water generation and ensuring the safe operation of desalination plant equipment and systems.
The Requirements
Based in the desalination plant, this role is crucial in ensuring the preventative and breakdown maintenance of the equipment is performed in accordance with State and Federal regulations and actively promote and engage in safe work practices.
The main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
· Initiating and implementing process improvements as directed
· Ensuring the availability and reliability of designated items for the plant
· Assisting in the documentation of desalination plant services, processes and working procedures
· Actively utilising the SAP Maintenance Management system to ensure the progress of maintenance tasks are continuously recorded and accurate
· Undertaking inspection, fault finding and root cause analysis of failures and making recommendations to ensure that probability of repeat failures are minimised
· Other duties as required.
Candidates are required to have the ability to read and understand prints such as P&ID, GA and ISO drawings and also possess a Boiler Making Certificate and Mechanical Trade qualification. Proven experience in the field of Mechanical maintenance and particularly working with rotary equipment is a must for this role. Familiarity with the water treatment process and basic understanding of water plant equipment and electrical, control and repair knowledge will be highly regarded as well as experience in desalination plant safety management systems or other related fields.
You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, willing to up skill yourself if necessary and have the ability to work autonomously. You will possess highly advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and be computer literate (SAP preferred).
  • A current WA Manual Drivers licence is an essential requirement
  • A current Construction White card is essential

With huge growth plans on the horizon, our Land Access & Approvals department is now looking to appoint an experienced Land Access Manager for their Moranbah NQ operations.
 
Reporting to the General Manager, Access your role will manage the team to establish and maintain contact with landholders and occupiers affected by Arrow petroleum activities and to communicate the company’s intentions and work practices.
 
The accountabilities of this role include the following and more:
 
  • Manage the team to work with landholders to identify authorised works including routes, access tracks etc and explain options for easement and/or compensation agreements;
  • Mange the team to deliver cultural heritage and ecology surveys and access requirements;
  • Manage the team to deliver completed option for easement/compensation agreements and organise legal assistance as and when necessary;
  • Manage the cross-functional (land, cultural heritage and ecology) team to deliver internal documentation to enable Assets to have the necessary information to undertake their tasks;
  • Managing budgets relating to the deliver Access in the Northern QLD assets;
  • Work with arrow’s public relations department to manage and improve Arrow’s relationship with landholders and external stakeholders;
  • Lead and manage compliance with Arrow’s HSE policies, Life Saving Rules and Land Access Rules; and
  • Provide input to the GM Access on the future direction of access activities and on ensuring our compensation and operation methods are seen as best practise.
 
To be successful, you will have a proven track record and demonstration of achievement encompassing the above duties and responsibilities; you will have a genuine empathy with landholders and knowledge of the activities they undertake with demonstrated knowledge of the Petroleum & Gas Act. Experience within the coal seam gas industry is an advantage. It is essential that you hold an open manual drivers licence to be considered for this opportunity.
