The company

A well established mining owner with a handful of medium to large underground hard rock mines in Australia. They run on a structured management system offering all of their employee's opportunities for growth and personal development.

 

The site

An underground hard rock mine running with a fleet of Tamrock and CAT machinery. The site is supported by a modern camp, sports facilities and chef quality meals. The town also has wide range of entertainment such as bars, restaurants and health clubs.

 

FIFO & Roster

The site runs on a 7 days on 7 days off roster with rotating shifts, all flights and transfers will be covered from Brisbane.

 

The position

As a heavy diesel fitter you will enjoy working autonomous in the field along with working in a close knit experienced team in the workshop. Your duties will include but not limited to breakdowns, first response problem solving, scheduled maintenance, general servicing and repairs.

 

Your value

• Trade qualified heavy diesel fitter
• 2 years + experience working as a heavy diesel fitter in underground mining
• Solid understanding of first response problem solving and breakdowns
• Excellent safety record
