Assistant Driller - Queensland - Oil and Gas

There is an immediate opportunity for Assistant Drillers to join a new drilling contractor in Queensland. With a large number of contracts already secured, this organisation is looking for experienced, qualified and enthusiastic drillers professionals to join the business.

You will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing business which operates some of the most modern rigs in the market. You will have extensive drilling experience, a strong focus on HSE and proven ability in a driller/senior driller role on large exploration rigs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementation and management of safety policies and procedures
• Assisting Driller with operational duties
  
• Management of log well history including ensuring regulatory compliance

You will have:

• CPR/First Aid
• Proven drilling skills
• Previous Cyber Chair experience is highly desirable
• Current Well control Certificate (IWCF)
• Cert III Drilling (onshore) (preferable but not necessary)
• Previous experience on Oil & Gas projects (Not Mineral)
  

The salary will be in line with relevant experience and will be in the region of $110,000 per annum. Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional experience.
