Job Description

The role is that of a Game Programmer, working within a tight-knit team of talented professionals. Company environment is a meritocracy, team structure flat. We make free to play games for mobile devices, and we have a lot of fun doing so :)

The role is suited to people who strive for excellence, want to better themselves and make engaging games to be played by millions. We have small teams, everyone is involved in the creative process, everyone on the team is critical, there is simply no room for mediocrity.

The role of programmer involves:

• Programming game specific code on both client (C#, C/C++) and server (Java).
• Working with iOS and Android platforms natively (C / C++).
• Working with Unity (C#).
• Writing graphics / shader code.
• Working in an agile manner - we focus on what matters, and regularly reevaluate priorities.
• Solving problems related to 2D/3D geometry.
• Creating novel solutions, particularly in AI / gameplay.
• Debugging, fixing bugs within an existing body of code.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Exceptional programming talent - coding comes naturally.
• Experienced - can show something impressive you coded yourself in C / C++.
• Passion for mobile games.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capable of working in an agile development environment. Learn fast, think fast, think creatively.
• Positive, forward-thinking, can-do attitude - always keen to learn.
• Residing in or moving to Melbourne, Australia - we're sorry but unfortunately we can't relocate / sponsor.
