Due to a recent internal promotion, Aurecon is looking to appoint a Business Development Industry Leader within our Transport group that can be based in any one of our major offices. This is a global role, accountable for developing and leading client engagements and relationships within the Transportation market.
 
Specific responsibilities include:

• Developing and shaping the market to drive growth for Aurecon in the medium and long term
• Developing collaborative and versatile relationships with prospective and current clients
• Fostering constructive relationships between clients and company resources
• Identifying and successfully negotiating and closing client opportunities
• Identifying industry and global client trends
• Enhancing Aurecon's reputation globally through sustainable client relationships and revenue growth

This opportunity would suit an innovative, strategic thinker, with strong business acumen and proven relationship building and collaboration skills. The successful applicant will have proven success in a similar role, working across various cultures and geographies and leading business development activities for sustainable business growth.
 
Personal attributes of initiative and drive, together with the capacity to communicate with clients on both a technical and commercial level, are essential. The successful candidate will show an enthusiasm to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to lead with integrity and professionalism. Expert knowledge of (and extensive experience in) the Transport sector is essential to this role.
