About the Job
Sr. Geotechnical
Engineer
Established mid-size Sunnyvale firm
has an opening for a California-registered Sr. Geotechnical Engineer with Masters
degree and minimum 15 years experience in managing major geotechnical projects.
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
· Strong all-around academic knowledge
of geotechnical engineering.
· Experience with support of excavation, earth retention,
slope stability, rock mechanics, soft soils, deep foundations, dewatering,
mining, and/or dam design is an asset.
· Experience with engineering design software will be an
advantage; experience with state-of-the-art finite element methods and seismic
site response is an asset.
· Experience with working in a team setting.
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and
written).
· Strong people skills and an ability to work in a
multi-disciplinary team environment.
