Drill Torque have an immediate opportunity for experienced qualified
drillers to join our team for an existing contract in Queensland. Our
organisation is looking for experienced, qualified drillers who are
enthusiastic professionals with a strong focus on safety.

The role of Driller is to provide supervision and guidance to the drilling team in the recovery and presentation of samples through safe, cost effective and professional practices. Ensuring adequate duty of care is exercised in all aspects of the appointed duties and responsibilities, behaviour, conduct and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and any site specific rules and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• IADC (WellCAP) Surface BOP qualification;
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Exploration Drilling;
• Mine Site Safety Supervisor (S1,S2,S3) competency
• A comprehensive understanding of drilling equipment and maintenance processes;
• Capability to manage and co-ordinate exploration drill teams; and
• Knowledge of the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act.
