Blast Hole Drillers

  • 2:1 roster FIFO, ex Perth
  • 3 month contract with view to permanency
  • Rate: $40 - $42 (flat) per hour
About the Client
Our client is a professional Drill & Blast Contractor who specialises in blast hole, grade control and explosives services for mining operations.
On behalf of this client, MPi are seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers to join their team in the Goldfields region.
About the Role
Working 12 hours per day, you will be responsible for the operation of the following blast hole drill rigs:
  • Tamrock CHA 1100, DP 1100, Pantera 1500
  • Sandvik DPI
Please note that this is not an entry level opportunity. Unfortunately, our client will not accept your application if you have not operated the above drill rigs for a minimum of 2 years.
Based on a 2:1 rotating roster FIFO from Perth, this 3 month contract opportunity is with view to permanency for the right candidate.
Whilst on site you will be staying in an ensuite room with access to the site facilities.
To be considered
  • You will ideally hold 2 years previous mining experience operating the blast hole drill rigs listed above.
  • Current WA HR Drivers Licence is desirable.
  • A candidate with strong approach to safety and a solid mining background with contactable referees will be highly regarded.
  • You will be required to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen and GSDU (police clearance) before proceeding to site.
Working for MPi
As a contractor for MPi, you will be offered between $40 - $42 per hour. Your final rate will be determined upon our client’s assessment of your skills and work history.
You will be paid on a weekly basis, with 9% superannuation paid on all hours worked. Pays are transferred into your nominated bank account by Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning.
