Job Description

Job Type: Full-Time/Salary
Compensation: $40K-$45K base + 10% performance bonus
We are seeking a tech-savvy, motivated, high-energy brand representative with passion for music to manage retail training and special event execution at the market level.
This position is an integral part of a national retail program for a large audio consumer electronics manufacturer. This is a home-office position involving extensive travel within the assigned territory (20% overnight travel) and working as part of a national training team.
We expect the ideal candidate to be located within driving distance of a major US airport.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with store- and district-level retailer personnel
- Arrange and execute training and sales events, promotions and contests, leveraging retailer relationships
- Present training and sales-related materials to groups of retail personnel during store- and district-level training events
- Manage to performance metrics, training objectives and quotas
- Collaborate with content developers and trainers to ensure excellence in retailer support, individually and as a team
- The position may involve management of part-time assisted sales representatives during seasonal events
- Perform any additional responsibilities as determined by mVentix and client management

Desired Skills & Experience

- College degree in business administration, marketing, music business or related fields
- Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience in the technology sector
- Product training and team management experience
- Exemplary leadership skills
- Professional appearance, confidence, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence and integrity
- Strong relationship building, communication and presentation skills
- Solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications
- Passion for consumer electronics technology
- Ability to work independently as well as be highly responsive to team and client needs
- Reliable personal transportation, insurance and valid driver's license
