Job Description

Director Experienced in Managing National Accounts
Prudential?s Group Insurance (GI) National Account Organization (NAO) Account Management team is seeking a Director of the West who will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and Account Consultants for National Account clients (10,000 + employees) across the US. This Director will be responsible for mobilizing support staff to maintain and strengthen account relationships, and grow the business, while resolving issues and problems that may arise. This position is responsible for their team?s service metrics through developing, training, executing case-specific business plans and assisting in retaining existing customers.

Business Development
? Lead a team of Account Mangers/Account Consultants focused on sustainable, profitable growth of the National Account in-force block of business
? Active role in developing case specific business plans that assist in meeting and exceeding persistency, profitability and revenue growth goals
? Active role in training staff and helping to remove internal and external obstacles they may face
? Drive a high performance culture
? Coach and develop Account Managers/Account Consultants
? Engage with National Account Executives to drive superior service results
? Establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients, Account Executives, and consultants.

Desired Skills & Experience

? Bachelors Degree required
? 5+ years of prior group insurance experience with proven success in servicing /selling/managing large accounts and clear understanding of internal processes and procedures
? 3+ years of experience managing a team
? Record of accomplishment and ability to develop and grow relationships
? Successfully partnered with brokers & consultants is desirable
? Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present to large groups
? Solid knowledge of group insurance products and services
? Strong financial acumen
