This role is with a top tier mining company which is known as a forward thinking and proactive organisation. They are currently seeking an ambitious Metallurgist who is looking to grow and progress within their company.
Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, you'll be working in a team which is responsible for ensuring the plant meets the quality and production targets. Your role will be varied and will span across projects and plant work. Your Plant Metallurgy responsibilities will include; met accounting, plant reporting, looking for processing and systems improvements and ensuring all KPIs are met. You will also be required to train operators when necessary and work with the laboratory in terms of plant samples.
As you'll work with a range of individuals, we're looking for those with strong communication skills and experience in working closely with stakeholders. As you'd expect you'll need to have a metallurgy degree (or equivalent) and operational experience with all of the above responsibilities within a mining processing plant.
