As production engineer you will be responsible for production mining activities ensuring optimum, economic and safe extraction of ore. You will have close liaison across the engineering, drill and blast, geology and dewatering teams as well as the mining contractor. You will undertake production reporting as well as identify and undertake projects to ensure continuous improvement of the operation. Design work is also a minor aspect of the role.
The successful candidate will have mine production experience in open pit operations and be degree qualified. You will have proven experience in an open pit mining engineering role and preferably 4 years + in a similar role. A WA Quarry managers Certificate is advantageous though not essential. Experience on Vulcan software is also advantageous.
In return a salary of $150-170k package is offered, though more may be negotiated for exceptional candidates, along with a generous holiday entitlement and benefits package.
