Job Description

The Consultant will be responsible for managing communications programs for Edelman’s blue chip technology clients in Indonesia which include enterprise technology, telco, B2B and consumertech clients. He/She will be involved in planning and implementation of media and other stakeholder communication programs for clients. He or she will lead and supervise an account team of 1-2 executives to provide and maintain a high standard of service to clients, which includes directing the clients’ programs, providing strategic counseling, ensuring client service quality and managing client budget and ensure evaluation as needed. He or she will embody a passion for technology and the ability to deeply learn complex and varying areas of the industry. The Consultant at this position will be required to interact with senior level management of the firm’s clients.

Required qualifications:

• Academic background in enterprise technology/IT
• At least 3 years of working experience in the technology field
• High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent in both oral and written communications in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Excellent writing and editing skills related to technology clients in terms of press releases, plans, speeches, emails and pitch letters both formal and informal (both English and Bahasa Indonesia).
• Deadline oriented with good project management skills
• Ability to think strategically and out-of the-box
• Highly self motivated and a team player
• Knowledge of PR and technology media relations will be advantageous
