Job Description :
  • The purpose of this job is to give advice to the development of marketing strategies that enables Ericsson to reach present objectives.
  • The job holder is involved as an advisor to the development of the overall strategy, or develops long-term strategies for a well-defined segment of a larger project.
  • The job holder assesses potentials for growth or market penetration and proposes aspects of strategies accordingly. The job is involved in activities with a long-term time span.
  • The job holder participates in the creation of a market segmentation model and the definition of business positioning, messages and brand strategy.
  • The job holder gives advice related to the definition of Key Performance Indicators for market positioning.
  • In addition the job holder gives input to the development of the formulation of Ericsson’s business propositions.
  • The job holder monitors the production of marketing communication material to be applied for an appealing and visionary communication of Ericsson’s long-term development aspirations.
  • The job holder is seen as a marketing expert with a solid telecom industry background and perspective and is expected to exercise influence on beliefs to peer and superior levels in the organization.
  • The job holder is expected to maintain solid working relationships with various functions in Communications and Marketing.
  • The job holder is expected to maintain solid working relationships with Product Owners, Product Management and Marketing and Communications.
  • The primary output of the role is giving advice to the development of long-term marketing strategies in line with objectives based on assessment of potentials for growth or market penetration and to develop long-term strategies for a welldefined segment of a larger project.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required qualifications and experience
  • The job requires a Master’s degree in preferably in Marketing coupled with relevant experience with demonstrated success to manage complex projects which includes time plans, budgets and assigned human resources.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Ericsson overall marketing strategies and objectives is required in the role and awareness of how various functions co-ordinate to reach these objectives.
  • The job holder must be knowledgeable about the market situation among major customers and is expected to follow trends on the global telecom industry and how they may implicate the business for Ericsson
