Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Coal - Residential

This is a good opportunity to step into a role with an established mining company in one of their Bowen Basin mine sites. Based close to Mackay, you will be working a 9 day roster.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, some of your duties and responsibilities can include the following:

• Plan, interpret and utilisation of geotechnical data
• Maintain financial control of geotechnical cost center
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist the technical services team as needed

You will need to possess an engineering degree and have a background in the Australian coal mining industry. Experience in geology is also acceptable.

Salaries will be experience relevant and will be in the range of $150k- $180k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
