Job Description
First Data Hellas is seeking to recruit an HR Operations Manager who will lead the HR Operations team and will take responsibility for all transactional and administrative Human Resources processes, policies and systems including recruitment and on boarding, benefits administration, supporting talent management initiatives and payroll processing.The successful candidate will:
•Manage and develop a team of 6 HR Operations associates in Greece, Serbia, Croatia and Romania.
•Work in partnership with the regional HR team and HR Centres of Excellence to provide administrative support and ensure a seamless customer experience to the wider organisation.
•Identify optimal solutions that meet the needs of the Human Resources function by recommending process improvements, HR systems enhancements and alternatives based on specific needs and corporate governance.
•Be accountable for all HR Operations processes ensuring a great customer experience by delivering a swift and accurate service.
•Provide input and local expertise to HR transformation projects ensuring new technology and processes meet local legislative standards and business requirements; monitor legislation and legal provisions that may affect HR operational processes.
• Be accountable for the production of payrolls in 4 countries ensuring legislation is adhered to and employees are paid in accurately and efficiently.
•Review and introduce service levels ensuring a high standard of customer service and minimal error rate.
• Manage existing relationships with Vendors and identify potential new providers.
Desired Skills & Experience
The most suitable candidate should also demonstrate the following skills and education/ experience requirements:- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance.
- Excellent spoken and written command of the Greek & English language
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar role gained preferably within an international environment.
- Previous working experience from a multinational matrix structure, Banking or Financial Services Sector and management of remote/virtual teams will be strongly considered
- Extensive HR experience of HRIS (preferably PeopleSoft) within fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environments where operational HR issues have to be handled on a large scale and with a need to multi-task and deal with autonomy and ambiguity.
- Very Good knowledge of local employment legislation and HR practices.
- Proven ability to map process, identify improvements and deliver change.
- Excellent interpersonal, project and change management skills, can do mentality, integrity.
