Responsibilities:

• Perform tests and inspections of installed equipment as per quality control system
• Compile punch lists for installation team
• Compile data packs and paperwork as per the quality control system
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Site Manager.

Qualifications:

• Electrical / Instrumentation trade qualifications.

Experience:

• 3-5 years as a QC Officer for an Electrical & Instrumentation installation contractor on process plant projects
• Computer literate - MS Word & MS Excel
• Mining, smelter and/or acid plant construction would be a benefit
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, including P&ID
• Siemens Simocode experience will be highly beneficial

The responsibilities of the
Senior Piping Designer are as follows:

1. Deliver discipline specific design and drafting services that meet WorleyParsons, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
2. Initiate, manage and if required supervise, design and drafting assignments on projects requirements on time and within budget.
3. Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:

ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;

if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;

prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;

ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with WorleyParsons checking procedures; and

participate in project reviews as required.

1. Provide technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline team and project teams, participate in peer reviews, and consult relevant resources as required.
2. Communicate effectively with the discipline team, clients and other project stakeholders, and make presentations as required.
3. If required, act as the discipline Lead on specific projects.
4. Establish and maintain good working relationships within WorleyParsons, with its clients and other stakeholders.
5. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between WorleyParsons and the client's requirements.
6. Identify issues and problems; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
8. Where required, prepare or assist in the preparation of project documentation such as budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules and reports.

Job Requirements

1. Highly effective technical and practical design and drafting skills in the relevant discipline, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
2. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and highly competent in the use of design software.

Experience:Required:

Substantial design and drafting experience in the relevant discipline in the Oil & Gas industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Should have approximately 8-12 years Oil & Gas experience.

Should have PDS experience.

Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Preferred:

A recognised design/engineering qualification in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
