Assistant Manager Purchasing
Tangerang (Banten)

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross functional departments to deliver all the goods ordered as per target date as well as maintaining a sustained delivery and quality performances.
- Monitor and expedite on purchase orders to ensure on time delivery / stock availability to meet planning requirements and production schedules
- Conduct supplier evaluation, responsible for lead-time reduction and cost reduction
- Regularly review, evaluate and assess supplier performance, effectiveness and define target agreement for continuous improvement
- Resolve disputes or performance issues with suppliers
- Administer and negotiate supplier contract / agreement, terms and condition
- Deliver yearly savings against goals
- Develop, manage and maintain supplier database
- Ensure an efficient and reliable purchasing system in operation, control and audit
- Able to Demonstrate Leadership in Managing Purchasing Dept. Team
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material purchasing, in the manufacturing industry, Furniture industry is a plus
- Possess strong planning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Possess high level of integrity, Honest person
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and deal with people at all levels
- Ability to manage stress and deliver under pressure
- Effective team player who is also resourceful and competent to work independently
- Computer proficiency with sound knowledge in Microsoft Office
