About the Job

Senior Engineer - Mining Based at the Colowyo Coal Company mine near Meeker, CO. Responsible for developing short and long-term mine plans, new mine expansion and project planning, annual budgeting and capital justification, leadership and mentoring skills. Requires a BS degree in Mine Engineering or related field. Prefer seven plus years experience in the coal mining industry. P.E. Certification a plus. Knowledge of AutoCAD/ Carlson and Microsoft Suite. Geologic modeling and Runge software skills a plus. Strong communication skills. Valid driver's license.
