Job Description

As a Horeca Manager, you have to Develop and implement strategy and plans for horeca channel, in accordance to the business development strategy, in order to maximize share, volume and profit performance for horeca channel in the most effective and efficient way.

Key responsibilities :

  • Identify horeca channel business opportunities and develop and implement the horeca strategy and budget to ensure that the objectives on market share, availability, visibility, volume, margin, quality and customer price of products are achieved for the horeca channel
  • Develop and implement a horeca brand and trade coverage plan, define horeca program, dialogue conversation and trading terms (e.g. bonus, credit, discounts, etc) and build and maintain a database for strategic horeca outlets, in order to maximize market share, volume and profit in the horeca channel
  • Coordinate with the regions to implement the horeca plan, program and trading terms and help to translate these in a sales/distribution plan for regions' reality, in order to meet the horeca channel objectives in the region
  • Enhance understanding of the horeca trading environment, establish close working relationships with region/area and provide coordination and support where needed to enhance the effectiveness of horeca sales activities in region
  • Monitor, analyze and report the business performance in the horeca channel and ensure objectives on availability, visibility, volume, margin, quality and customer price of products are achieved for the horeca channel within budget
  • Liaise with region and area management to develop and maintain the right capacity, capability and motivation of their workforce to deliver the brand and trade programs in the horeca channel


  • Essential requirements


    • University degree in marketing or business administration with minor in statistics
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a business development / horeca channel management role in the FMCG industry
    • Knowledge and experience in the Indonesian cigarette market
