Operations Manager
We are seeking a suitably experienced Operations Manager for the
Leadership of our 3 Operational Branches reporting directly to the
Managing Director and working closely with the Operation Services
Manager. The Savannah Operations are situated in the Pilbara and have
been established for over 20 years. As the Operations Manager you will
be responsible for ensuring the workforce is meeting and exceeding
performance targets. You will have a successful leadership track record
within the Mining or related industry as well as a minimum of 8+ years’
experience in a direct management role. This position would be best
suited to a candidate who has a well-developed analytical and problem
solving mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This position has the option to be FIFO or residential out of one of the 3 Branches located in the Pilbara. It will require travel amongst the 3 sites to ensure maximum coverage.
To be successful in securing this position you will have strong leadership background plus;
• Establishment and revision of annual organizational strategy for all 3 Branches - with opportunities for targeted growth
• Provide strong leadership, direction and coaching of Branch Management team - in excess of 200+ people
• Proven ability to identify value add initiatives that will provide a stronger financial base and ROI on existing services/products
• Proven ability to communicate both orally and writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues and manage meetings
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work deadlines, to prioritise and work under pressure
• Intermediate to advanced computer and business accounting skills
