Mine Surveyor
Our client a gold producer is seeking a Mine Surveyor to join their WA operations.
Reporting to the Mining Manager you will play a key role in the
surveying department for this operation and play a key part in all mine
surveying
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of the spatial information & data sets
- End of month survey pickups and volume reporting
- Prism monitoring
- Ore block and pit design set outs
- Provide mining related and general surveying services
- Management of all aspects of the Survey Department,
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in open pit mining
- Grade 1 or 2 Authorisation
- Solid practical experience and proficiency with Surpac mining software
- Ability to get along and work well in a small team environment
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying
- Authorisation as a Mine Surveyor within WA under the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations is essential.
