Mine Surveyor

Our client a gold producer is seeking a Mine Surveyor to join their WA operations.

 

Reporting to the Mining Manager you will play a key role in the surveying department for this operation and play a key part in all mine surveying

This role is FIFO from Perth on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintenance of the spatial information & data sets
• End of month survey pickups and volume reporting
• Prism monitoring
• Ore block and pit design set outs
• Provide mining related and general surveying services
• Management of all aspects of the Survey Department,

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in open pit mining
• Grade 1 or 2 Authorisation
• Solid practical experience and proficiency with Surpac mining software
• Ability to get along and work well in a small team environment
• Degree or Diploma in Surveying
• Authorisation as a Mine Surveyor within WA under the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations is essential.
