Investigates and evaluates plant processes as they apply to laboratory testing and separator equipment. Conducts laboratory and performance testing including chemical treatment and specific equipment evaluation.  Writes test reports of laboratory evaluation.  Conducts on-site testing and evaluation as it relates to separator equipment. Engineer position primary responsibility would be three fold: 1)  Assist in determining the sizing of all equipment. 2)  Perform lab testing for thickener, HVBF, filter presses and basic centrifuge characteristics. 3)  Perform on-site pilot testing for centrifuge and filter presses.

Major Duties:

¨  Collects available laboratory information and plans tests; works with supervisor, sales, process engineering, representatives and customers. ¨  Conducts testing and records both objective analytical data and personal subjective observations: maintains close interface with sales and Laboratory Director. ¨  Researches sample background and process information to understand derivation of test samples. ¨  Writes test reports that identify specific objectives and provide specific conclusions based on an  understanding of customer's requirements. ¨  Stays current on standard laboratory procedures, drying and filtration techniques and theories. ¨  Stays current on Mining, Municipal. Industrial, Pulp and Paper processing and new technology trends. ¨  Maintains current knowledge of equipment, chemicals and filter media. ¨   Conducts on-site laboratory testing and dewatering evaluations as required. ¨   Participates in on-site demo tests. ¨   Participates in performance start-up and on-site problem solving. ¨   In conjunction with previous three items, up to 30 % travel may be required. • Communication:

Report progress to program goals on a regular and programmed basis to communicate risks opportunities and status of each new product program against established milestones.Communicate/Present to customers and suppliers in effort to address any technical question or product change request.

Required Experience

Qualified candidate will have a 4 year degree and 7-10 years of experience. However, a Master's degree and 10+ years of experience is prefered.

• Must be computer literate in Windows applications, minimum word processing and spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge of CAD and/or CAE. SolidWorks and ANSYS preferred.
• Experience in all aspects of new product commercialization preferred.
• Experience in design and application of assigned products or products requiring very similar skills and experience.

The Opportunity
CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Desalination team in Cape Preston on a permanent 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth.
The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent – Maintenance, this role will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of the desalination plant equipment and systems in order to provide a safe, reliable and efficient source of water as well as performing maintenance, repair, improvements and technical fault finding for desalination water generation and ensuring the safe operation of desalination plant equipment and systems.
The Requirements
Based in the desalination plant, this role is crucial in ensuring the preventative and breakdown maintenance of the equipment is performed in accordance with State and Federal regulations and actively promote and engage in safe work practices.
The main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
· Initiating and implementing process improvements as directed
· Ensuring the availability and reliability of designated items for the plant
· Assisting in the documentation of desalination plant services, processes and working procedures
· Actively utilising the SAP Maintenance Management system to ensure the progress of maintenance tasks are continuously recorded and accurate
· Undertaking inspection, fault finding and root cause analysis of failures and making recommendations to ensure that probability of repeat failures are minimised
· Other duties as required.
Candidates are required to have the ability to read and understand prints such as P&ID, GA and ISO drawings and also possess a Boiler Making Certificate and Mechanical Trade qualification. Proven experience in the field of Mechanical maintenance and particularly working with rotary equipment is a must for this role. Familiarity with the water treatment process and basic understanding of water plant equipment and electrical, control and repair knowledge will be highly regarded as well as experience in desalination plant safety management systems or other related fields.
You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, willing to up skill yourself if necessary and have the ability to work autonomously. You will possess highly advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and be computer literate (SAP preferred).

Summary
This is a senior position suitable for a HSSE/OA professional with experience at HSE Manager/Superintendent level within the Oil and Gas Industry. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all external HSE reporting required by legislation, the JOB and Talisman.
• Organize, and where necessary conduct, the training and coaching necessary to establish and maintain an excellent HSE performance throughout the JOB. 
• Maintain and test the Emergency Response capability within the JOB.  Participate as a team member of the Emergency Response Team for Jakarta Office and Field/JOB.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in a relevant Industry discipline, i.e. Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health or other related subject, ideally complimented with a formal HSE qualification (NEBOSH or similar)
• A thorough in-depth knowledge of regulatory permitting and approval processes and reporting requirements is essential. 
• Minimum of 12 years experience of the HSE issues found in Indonesia within major in oil and gas industry organizations.  Demonstrable experience of safety inspections and auditing, HSEMS and dealing with operational/drilling HSE activities and challenges is a must.  Experience of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 implementations and audit would be of benefit. 
• Proven experience and a good understanding of HSE Risk Assessments, inc. HAZOP, HAZID, JSA, Modern Safety Management, ISO 14001/EMS standards etc.
• Previous experience of working within a multi national environment, 5 years of which shall be in a senior supervisory or management position.
• Experience gained within a large onshore drilling and production operation is advantageous.

·        MSHA low, medium and high voltage electrical certification

·        Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairs on all mining equipment

·        Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.), SAP, and the willingness to learn associated plant and maintenance software applications

·        Satisfactory performance and safety record

·        Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate activities with other technicians, outside vendors and all other employees

FMC Green River, WY is hiring a Mine Electrical Engineer to transfer and practice the knowledge of the current Business Leader who has 30+ years electrical engineering and commit five years to this role while developing into a leadership position

 

• Perform as the sole electrical mine engineer; build and maintain the mine electrical system, audit safety, repair and maintain process control systems, preventative maintenance, maintain power (control board electronics to 34,400 Volts), equipment purchasing, software and hardware spec and installation, technical installation, design/program/repair boards, work with industrial motors, controllers, variable frequency drives. The position is 99% underground
• Works closely with hourly staff and management; no direct reports

• Document equipment change and repair to assure information will be easily obtainable for future repairs, purchases, etc.

Requirements: 

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
• Minimum 5 years’ experience; 7-10 preferred
• Must have hands-on working knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits and systems, high and low voltage power distributions, AC/DC motor control, industrial controls, process control systems, programming and instrumentation and equipment reliability techniques.
• Trona experience preferred
